Scheduled Trojan Time Maintenance (March 1)

From 9:00 to 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, February 15, ITS will be performing scheduled maintenance on Trojan Time, USC’s online timekeeping system, trojantime.usc.edu. During this maintenance, users will be unable to access Trojan Time.

SharePoint and OneDrive Performance Issue (February 19)

Microsoft is currently experiencing problems with its cloud platform which is impacting users ability to access OneDrive O365 and SharePoint.  O365 Email is not affected by this issue.

Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client Application Performance Issue (February 17)

Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client application is having a performance issue. Users are not able to establish a virtual private network (VPN) after applying the February 2015 patch in Windows 8.1 or Windows Server 2012. The following error appears: Failed to Initialize connection subsystem.

Cisco is aware of the issue and offers the following solution:

1. Go to folder with AnyConnect client, for 64bit OS, “C:\Program Files (x86)\Cisco\Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client”
For 32bit OS “C:\Program Files\Cisco\Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client”
2. Find the vpnui.exe file, right click -> properties, go to Compatibility tab, and select “Run this program in compatibility mode for: Windows 8″

We are currently experiencing performance issues with YouSC and the Person Entity (PE) Identity Application.  Users are unable to connect to the systems.  We are aware of the problem and working to resolve them.

We are currently experiencing performance issues with the  iVIP service.  iVIP administrators are unable to create new or modify existing iVIP accounts.

We are currently experiencing a Blackboard Service Performance Issue.  Users on the University Park and Health Science campus may experience intermittent delays connecting to the service.  We are aware of the issue and working to resolve it as quickly as possible.

Resolved: University Park Campus Guest Wireless Performance Issues (February 3)

University Park Campus Guest Wireless Performance Issues (February 3) 

We are currently experiencing performance issues with the USC Guest Wireless at the University Park Campus.  Some users are able to connect to the USC Guest Wireless but are not able to reach any website.  We are aware of the issue and working to resolve it.

AT&T Inbound Toll-Free Service Performance Issues (February 3)

We are currently experiencing performance issues with AT&T inbound Toll-free service to the University Park Campus (UPC). Some users are not able to make calls into USC using the Toll-free service. We are aware of the problem and working to resolve it.
