Scheduled Trojan Time Maintenance (August 24)

From 9:00 to 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, August 24, ITS will be performing scheduled maintenance on Trojan Time, USC’s online timekeeping system, trojantime.usc.edu. During this maintenance, users will be unable to access Trojan Time.

Resolved: Turnitin Performance Issue (April 30)

The issue with the Turnitin plagiarism detection service has been resolved by Turnitin. (Posted at 7:00 a.m.)

Turnitin Performance Issue (April 29)

Due to a high number of submissions, the Turnitin plagiarism detection service is currently experiencing an intermittent service degradation affecting report generation speeds. After submitting, an Originality Report may take an extended period of time to generate. Previously, the submission process was also experiencing delays taking upwards of 15 minutes to complete, but this is now resolved. All other areas of Turnitin and Blackboard services are unaffected and working normally.

Turitin technicians are aware of the issue and working to resolve it. (Posted at 10:10 p.m.)

USC Wireless Network Performance Issues (April 14)

Some campus users are experiencing trouble connecting to the USC Wireless Network.  Users are advised to connect to the USC Wireless Plus Network as an alternative.

Voicemail Performance Issue at UPC (March 14)

We are experiencing a performance issue with the USC voicemail system on the University Park campus. Callers to 213-743-XXXX phone numbers are unable to leave voicemail messages.

We are aware of this issue and are working to resolve it as quickly as possible.

The voicemail performance issue we were experiencing has been resolved. Posted (12:14 p.m.)

We are currently experiencing a performance issue with the USC Modular Messaging voice messaging system. The message waiting indicator on the telephone set is not functioning correctly. Customers who dial 213-821-8000 or EXT. 18000 to access their voicemail will need to periodically check their voicemail box for new messages.

We are still experiencing performance issues with staff email. Some staff are seeing delays in receiving emails. We are aware of these issues and working to resolve them as quickly as possible.

There is currently a power outage north of the University Park campus.  Several buildings are without power per Facilities Management Services (FMS).

The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (DWP) is working to restore power.
